The objective of this paper is to present an analytical framework that will help us reconstruct and analyse the process of computerization and its effects. The result of the analysis can be used in order to evaluate effects of computerization. By drawing on empirical data from the purchase and implementation of a software package for elderly care, it is illustrated how the model can be used.
